The Carlile Family

Adorable families make my job pretty easy, especially when one of the family members has so much personality, you find yourself laughing constantly at his antics.

Meet Abraham and meet Abraham's car.
Knowing him well, his mom and dad used the promise of a new toy car as a tactic to get him to smile, aka bribe. If you're around toddlers often, it seems to be the main form of currency if you want to accomplish anything - brushing teeth, going to bed, eating veggies... etc. It soon became clear that if we wanted any smile/participation at all, the toy needed to make an appearance.

After that was settled, we had a great time exploring Joyner Park in Wake Forest and only had to duck for cover from the rain once! The scenery was great and they were so photogenic, that I had trouble not taking a picture every second. It was tough to narrow down, but here are my favorites from the day.

Thanks Carlile Family!

  1. What wonderful pictures. Such a cute family. I guess I can love them so much because Kim is my daughter. You did a wonder job capturing their personalities. Thanks.

  2. These are fantastic! I love that you took pictures at Carol Joyner but that you just used nature and not as much structure as the background. You even made the bright green swings look good! Great job, you truly have an amazing talent!
