Say Cheese

Oh cheese. How I love you. Sharp. Feta. Bleu.... I haven't met a cheese I haven't loved. Okay, well that's a lie... sorry goat cheese. 
And even though you may not be the healthiest thing to eat, you are definitely the most delicious.
So, it should not come as a surprise that while we were frolicking in the mountains of North Carolina, we decided to see where you came from.

Retreat from the Heat

It is hot as heck out there, thankfully an invitation from great friends to the mountains coincided with the heat wave. Lucky us! So while most Raleighites were sweating it out, we were basking in the cool breezes of the Blue Ridge while hiking, bundling up for chilly nights with cocktails to keep us warm, sipping on bottled Cokes while browsing the candy selection of the Mast General Store and watching the dogs frolic. 

I love summer. Especially when it's not hot...
