Tre Sorelle Cottage, Sonoma, CA

When we were searching for a place to stay, we had already settled on Sonoma. It was centrally located, so our trips to the different wine regions were all within about the 30 minute range. Downtown Sonoma also offered easy access to grocery stores and markets for cooking at home, as well as some great meal options close by when we ventured out, not to mention the square downtown was filled with tasting rooms, a park, and shops. With that settled, it was time to find a home for 4. VRBO (vacation rentals by owner) was a quick way to search for a home and we found Tre Sorelle on our first try. To make it even more appealing, it has its own blog and Facebook page! So we learned about its renovation into the charming cottage we see today and that it was recently recognized by  the Sonoma League for Historical Preservation. Complete with a viking range, 4 bicycles, a bocce court, pergola with cafe lights, surrounded by vineyards, and minutes away from the downtown square and wineries, we found vacation heaven.

Stay tuned for delicious tastings and good eats in Napa tomorrow.
