Colleen - Bridal Portrait, North Carolina Museum of Art, Raleigh, NC

Bridal portraits are like gift giving at Christmas time. You've made/bought/created the gift and you are SO excited to share it... but you can't. There's a date and you can't give the gift until it's time. It's torture.

I'm the kind of person who buys a gift and then tries to get you to guess what it is that I've gotten you because I can't stand to wait to give it to you. I know you're going to love it and want you to be just as excited as I am about the pending gift. Well, lucky for you, the wait is over! I can FINALLY share Colleen's gorgeous bridal portrait session since she was married this past Saturday.

This girl can pose on the drop of a dime and has a smile that won't quit. And she also happens to be just a sweet on the inside as she is on the outside.

Jonathan + Lee: Post Wedding Photo Shoot

I love these two. I could photograph them all day every day. We never had a chance to do an engagement shoot before the wedding, but I'm kind of glad it worked out that way, since we got to schedule an amazing post wedding shoot instead in Roanoke, which served as the perfect half-way point for us. I had no idea Roanoke was such a great photo shoot location, and I'm kind of in love with the city's downtown.

Hmmm... I think I know who got married?

WPS Convention Live Shoot

Umm... live shoot with Tim Sayer and Christobal Perez? Yes please. These guys are at the top of their game, so watching them in action was awesome. Plus, we got to spend some time with the models as well...

First up, brides, bustiers and lots of light.

Next up, an engagement shoot with a gorgeous couple who had actually been married for a few years, but were obviously more in love than ever.

before the kiss and after the kiss...
