Wes

With that hair and those eyes (and a Pink Floyd t-shirt!), I knew it was going to be a great shoot and Mr. Wes did not disappoint. His energy level kept us all on our toes and I thought that after shooting for a couple hours that included lots of walking, running, exploring and playing, he would have tuckered out, but that was definitely not the case. In fact, even as I was waving good-bye, he had already moved on to his next toy to play with. Oh to have that energy!

Thanks Wes and especially Wes' Mom & Dad for a great time!

The Carlile Family

Adorable families make my job pretty easy, especially when one of the family members has so much personality, you find yourself laughing constantly at his antics.

Meet Abraham and meet Abraham's car.
Knowing him well, his mom and dad used the promise of a new toy car as a tactic to get him to smile, aka bribe. If you're around toddlers often, it seems to be the main form of currency if you want to accomplish anything - brushing teeth, going to bed, eating veggies... etc. It soon became clear that if we wanted any smile/participation at all, the toy needed to make an appearance.

After that was settled, we had a great time exploring Joyner Park in Wake Forest and only had to duck for cover from the rain once! The scenery was great and they were so photogenic, that I had trouble not taking a picture every second. It was tough to narrow down, but here are my favorites from the day.

Thanks Carlile Family!
